Grumpy About Gas Prices

Well, it is definitely time to start cutting back because of fuel prices! Gas companies claim its just supply and demand.  I guess that means “they demand we supply more money for their gas”.  Fuel companies stink.

Seriously, there has got to be a way to stop the madness.

I say we start charging each member of the any fuel company board of directors for oxygen.  Maybe some old mafia style shakedown where we start charging them protection money to keep us from taking some sort of revenge on these bloodsuckers.

Hm.  I’m not bitter much.

So much has happened…

I found out today that I got accepted into the program in Hawaii that I was hoping for.  So… it is time to move to Hawaii!  Yeah!

I won’t have much time at all to wrap up my project here.  I still have the Improve and Control phases to complete in my LSS project here at Fort Leavenworth.  It will really, really, really be cutting it close.

I don’t know it I can get it all done… but with an entire lifeplan change unfolding over the weekend… what choice do I have?

Missing summer break!

The kids are getting out of school soon and I am wishing I could join them.  I want summer break.

I think grown-ups should get summer break too.

Super Bowl…

First off… I loved watching the Super Bowl.  ^^^^ and I were rooting for the Colts and ^^^^ and ^^^^ were rooting for the Bears.  I had SO much fun watching the game and explaining the game to VVVV and VVVV.  We need to watch more football together.  It was a LOT of fun.

Secondly… I am so impressed by Tony Dungy.  I really would love to know more about him.  He seems to be a very inspirational man and I would gladly attend any leadership seminar he ever gave.  I applaud Tony Dungy wholeheartedly.  I hope he continues to succeed in all he does.

Thirdly… the BEAUTIFUL interception and touchdown by Kelvin Hayden was AWESOME!!  AAWWEESSOOMMEE!!  I was off the couch and jumping up and down like a crazy person.  Now THAT is football worth watching!

Fourth… Prince.  I loved watching Prince perform.  When he ended up his performance with Purple Rain, I felt such an overwhelming feeling of nostalgia.  I remember buying Purple Rain, the album.  It was one of the first albums I ever bought.  So many memories flooded back to me of that time in my life.  It is amazing the memories that music can evoke.

And fifth… if you happened to catch any of Animal Planet’s “Puppy Bowl”… it was hilarious.  Mostly hilariously lame… but hilarious nonetheless.  The puppies wore out pretty quickly and mostly it was non-eventful.  But still cute.  I mean, c’mon… they are puppies.  Puppies are cute no matter what.

So there you have it… a few of my Super Bowl thoughts.
