Wow, thanks for checking the about me page! Not many people do, so it is pretty cool that you did.
I am an Aquarius, my favorite color is black, and my favorite animal is a panther.
I am Mormon (member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints), I grew up as an Army Brat, I am now an Army Wife, and I have two children. One child is grown, and the other one is a teenager. I have lived in many places around the world and have met many wonderful people.
Also, I am a bit of a geek. I love Doctor Who, Star Trek, Firefly, Sherlock, and all things gadget-y. I would rather have a new gadget than a diamond. I am an early adopter whenever possible and I fangirl about geeky things all the time.
I love to read science fiction fantasy. As a young girl, I read “Dragonlance” when it first came out and pretty much everything else that involved trolls, orcs, elves, dragons, sorcerors, or flying horses whenever I could. I still read science fiction fantasy, only now it often includes witches, wizards, werewolves, vampires, angels, or grim reapers as well. Also, I can read really fast. About 500-700 words a minute if I am really enjoying my book. When I am reading, I get completely engrossed and don’t notice anything happening around me at all.
This is also how I work. When I work, I get into a “Zone” and I can work for hours and hours without even noticing the time passing. It drives my family crazy.
I have been involved in online marketing since 1988. Seriously, one of the very first searches I did on my first personal computer was “how to make money online”. I simply found the Internet fascinating. I wish I had really maximized what I knew when the Internet was the young and simple.
If I had “a young Padawon” (that’s Star Wars jargon for an apprentice), my advice would be to not hold back. If you learn something, use it, use it right away, and use it all out holding nothing back. That is my biggest regret. I let fear get in the way of doing.
It took partnering up with someone who was fearless to learn there was nothing to be afraid of and to just do it. Which is what I try to do now. I love to try new things and to experiment with new ways to rank sites and to position sites online.
Thanks for reading about me! Please comment on the blog and help me get to know you!
